Moose stabbed to death in Alaska park; suspects in custody
ANCHORAGE, Alaska • Three men are in custody in Alaska’s largest city after a young moose was stabbed to death at a popular local park.
Anchorage police say 25-year-old Johnathan Candelario, 28-year-old James Galloway and 33-year-old Nick Johnston are under arrest in connection with the death of the yearling moose Tuesday night near a bike trail in Russian Jack Springs Park.
The men were arrested on charges of animal cruelty, wanton waste of big game and tampering with evidence. It’s unclear if they have attorneys.
Police say several witnesses called shortly before 7:30 p.m. reporting that the three men were jumping on the animal, kicking it and stabbing it with a large knife.
Police officers quickly located the three suspects nearby. The animal was found dead.

Read this – it is ghastly. They have high bail so they’ll be in a jail cell for awhile, thankfully. I also hate it when people will try to excuse just plain sick behavior with something rational.

These kinds of moral throwbacks and torturers made the concept of misanthropy necessary.
I’m sure that, because it is a moose (and not a coyote, fox or wolf), they will get punished harshly.

Multiply these kinds of abuses by the millions since the hominids we used to be started the killing and exploitation, and there is no need to apologize for misanthropy and downright hatred. Let those who believe otherwise justify themselves.
That’s the thing – I’m told repeatedly “but we’re not all like that, don’t judge all of us and throw us all into the basket of bad apples.’ But increasingly, we are all like that, or we don’t do anything to stop people like that because ‘they are human and can change/learn/be rehabilitated’. Meanwhile, animals are still being violently brutalized and used. Even for those claiming to be atheist, there’s still that last vestige somewhere in our brains where we believe we are ‘the crown of creation made in the image of the Creator’, supreme. So be fruitful and multiply ad nauseam, and take and use up what is rightfully yours, given to you by your Creator.

Court records show that Johnston has at least eight misdemeanor assault convictions since 2000, plus a lengthy record of arrests for domestic-violence offenses. Candelario has prior convictions for fourth-degree assault, unauthorized entry and criminally negligent burning, while most of Galloway’s record involves traffic charges.
This is just more proof that the link to violence doesn’t stop with animals. When this first guy couldn’t beat up his wife of girlfriend or someone else, he probably goes out looking for a poor defenseless animal to kill – of course, a small one. If only it had been a bull moose who would have stomped the shit out of them.
