Maybe I’m too cynical, but I question whether the earth will be large enough to share the way Homo sapiens keeps producing offspring and ravaging the landscapes for more development.
Not to mention the mental gymnastics the brain conducts to justify the the evils one commits.
Because the self does not commonly consider itself evil, it perceives its actions can not possibly be so – despite the obvious.

Some of these mental gymnasts should have their own Special Olympics and leave the rest of us out of it.
