  1. NO grizzly (or black bear or cougar or wolf or prairie dog or pheasant) hunting is my preference. I guess the 95% of the people who don’t want the hunt need to organize and open their wallets and checkbooks around election time. They’ll need to complete with the big gun and hunt groups.

  2. Why do we have to kill? Why do we always have to resort to violence? It is nothing short of an atrocity and abomination to hunt animals for any reason other than survival. We do not need to hunt for survival – or eat meat for survival – for that matter.

      • I really do believe it is a cultural thing, a clash that shows no signs of abating.

        According to Dan Ashe, of the ‘there’s plenty in Canada’ wildlife fame, the rationale for killing off the US’s wildlife without danger of extinction or extirpation is that there are plenty [Grizzlies, wolves, sage grouse, wolverines, etc.] in Canada. I guess there goes that theory, eh?
