5 thoughts on “Why this deer disease could change the way Americans hunt forever

  1. Jim, Pennsylvania started their deer hunting season Monday,on the news they had drop boxes that look like the type of boxes for Goodwill, to deposit deer heads to be tested, I was wondering, if a hunter does have a deer that has the disease are they allowed to shoot a another deer?

  2. I thought I heard a few gunshots in the early morning the other day – but there’s been so much more development in recent years in my rural area, I don’t see as many deer as I once did, and land available to hunt is getting too close to homes. People move here and try to turn it into suburbia, fencing out and even eliminating the wildlife! Eventually, they will wipe them out, I’m sure. The don’t let that stop them, but my backyard is a hiding safe house for deer and other wildlife!
