Just because someone is vegan does not mean they support Animal Rights, or they even care about animals.
A case in point is US Senator Cory Booker, Democrat of New Jersey.
Sen Cory Booker may be vegan, but he takes bribes from vivisectors.
Booker pronounces himself vegan, but is bought and paid for by Big Pharma. For those unfamiliar with Big Pharmaceuticals, they include the largest vivisectors in the world.
Booker is being floated as a possible candidate in 2020. He is one of a few Clintonites who may do battle with Bernie Sanders.
Booker is attractive, loyal to Big Banks, Wall Street, and the military-industrial complex. And is the leading mouthpiece for Big Ag in the US Senate.
He hopes to be heir to Obama’s black support.
Strategists for Booker hope to exploit his supposed veganism to gain traction with animal activists.

His comments about hunting and animal rights try to walk both sides of the line, which really cannot be done. 😦
In particular, I remember his response to that Sportsman’s Heritage hunting act, and it did not inspire much confidence.
