The following are the reports written by Wisconsin and Michigan conservation officers (game wardens) investigating recent cases where a deer hunter and trapper illegally killed a gray wolf. These are not our exaggerations, they are the words of licensed law enforcement officers responding to the increase of violence directed towards the wolves of Wisconsin and Michigan. The wolf shot in its rear legs by Steven Kohl dragged itself 35 yards before she died from her wounds.

  1. It is thrilling to me that he must have been threatened with jail time and big fines, and confessed to his crimes instead. Go, DNR, go! A couple of bullets in the ass and letting him wander for days just like this poor wolf had to suffer would work too. πŸ™‚

  2. I don’t know if there is any other solution for these wolf-hating throwbacks except vigilante snipers roaming the woods.

  3. Thank you for posting this. I am sending each poacher a postcard with my thoughts. It may do no good, but my hope is that it will elicit a sense of guilt and remorse. Probably not, but if not, maybe it will summon a nightmare or two. These two killers are MY nightmare and my heartbreakers.
