Dear Vegetarians:

Eggs, milk, and cheese are not vegetables.

For the really thick, sea food and fish are not vegetables, either.

Before the Armory came into being. I was publishing Notes on my Facebook profile which I called political grenades, weapons to be wielded in the war for animal rights. Those modest apothegms and observations have grown to over two thousand grenades and articles.

In addition to regular articles, the Armory has begun publishing Politically Incorrect, an ongoing, daily stream of grenades that I hope will be shared extensively.

Most will be provocative, all will be irreverent, many seditious, and each will be designed to hit people upside the head.

The purpose of the Armory is to challenge people to think, to question what they believe, to weigh what they value.

To question authority, society, law, government, religion, politics, and their own worldviews.

True, but all steps in vegetarian direction helps with preventing animal cruelty, using up the land for ranchers, our environment, our health, wildlife: once a week or more veggie days, partial veggies, complete veggies. And it is not just switching to vegetables and fruits but plant based food.

      • Good point. There’s no excuse these days to stop off at the vegetarian stage for more than a day or two if not contributing to animal suffering is one of your goals. There are so many high protien meat alternatives to be found nearly everywhere a person might look (some places more than others, sure, but there’s still no good excuse for a caring, thinking person).
