His name was Aubrey (aka Toby).Hewas just 5 months old. Not yet housebroken, and still a chewer, two annoyed roommates took him out to the woods and shot him in the abdomen. They left him in the bushes to die. He was found, but after heroic efforts to save him, he did not make it.
When police tracked the suspected killers down, one suspect asked “All this for a dog?”
The men have been charged. However, in most animal cruelty cases, laws and sentencing guidelines lack the teeth needed to take a bite out of this kind of crime.
We need stricter animal abuse laws that teach the importance of compassion for all living things.

Exposing the Big Game 
Oh, for a tectonic plate shift…..
I hope Mother Nature shakes these losers off like a bad habit.
I was curious to know more about this story, just what kind of lowlife scum could do such a thing. Some people should just not be allowed to have pets. The poor dog had a heart attack, and was shot with a 9 mm Glock:
“The puppy’s owner and another man have been charged with first-degree animal cruelty. Court documents say the owner bought the dog about two months ago but had become frustrated with him because he was not housebroken and had chewed on furniture.”
If you can’t deal with a young puppy’s training, you shouldn’t have one, or at least rehome the poor dog. Just heart-sickening.

The worst thing is that they don’t even understand what was wrong about what they did. I sure hope they haven’t fathered any children.
