Yup, no other species endlessly gawks and invades the privacy of other living beings.
“Eco- tourism”, another ” green-washed” concept to make the business community more money…
Eco-tourism is also a way of saving animals like gorillas by making money and creating jobs for the local people. Otherwise the animals are at risk of being turned unto bushmeat or being killed to get their habitat for farming. Ecotourism can also degrade the environment as officials bring in more tourists for more money.
If zoos, green-washed environmental organizations, and all those who talk the talk actually cared about “preserving” and ” conserving” wild animal species they would stop imprisoning animals and instead use their blood- money profits to buy land in those animals’ homelands. And use their ill-gotten gains to pay the native/ indigeneous populations in those areas to protect these animals and their habitats. In other words, actually prevent extinction and habitat destruction instead of going through the motions. I’ m guessing that those millions of membership dues and entrance fees would be a great substitute for the “ecotourism” dollars that are frequently now contributing to the problem.
Speaking of dolphins, does anyone think these scumbags care about marine life when there’s money to be made?:
