This is what happens in third-world sh*tholes. (If you get the impression I do not respect my fellow man, you’re right!) The barest level of civility yes, but respect is earned.
When life is sh*t for humans, they haven’t got much concern for animals. Even when life is good for humans, concern for animals isn’t much higher a priority. Just look that poor dog’s eyes in the first pic. 😦
