The explosion- loving, ” patriots” – most of them dont even know what the 4th of July signifies-, love oohing and aahing to the mindless detonation of these moronic devices. But the sale of this crap is worth $2000 a day during July and December when the mindless millions plunk down their so- called hard- earned dollars to buy these explosive devices. Several jurisdictions in my state actually had the courage to ban these things because of the wildfire danger. Go figure, common sense won out over greed and self-absorption. And of course its just one more idiotic distraction for families/ kids.
The massive Gorge fire in Oregon was started by stupid teens with fireworks in Sept. of 2017. I don’t mind the large fireworks displays put on by towns/cities that are beautifully done and contained, but I long for the morons who shoot them off in neighborhoods and everywhere else to get fingers blown off and hands deformed. They are illegal in Seattle but the cops never arrest anyone. These dumb fucks regularly start house fires with their illegal explosives too.
