A Prince George group of hunters, trappers, and guides have gotten together to say they’ve had enough of being attacked and they’re fighting back.
“It’s frustration with what seems to be an endless onslaught of attacks and outright hate from these anti-hunting organizations. There’s been death threats, personal attacks, all driven by these emotional hate campaigns,” said Steve Hamilton, one of the founders of a new Facebook group called BC Hunter Action Circle.
As an example of the hate he’s referring to, Hamilton sent a screen shot of a Facebook conversation to MyPGNow.com where one user said “We should actually shoot to kill people who shoot and kill these defenseless and marvelous creatures for nothing but pleasure.”
Another comment reads “yes unlimited kills on the trophy fu**kers.”

Exposing the Big Game 
While two wrongs don’t make a right, what about the death threats, bullying and personal attacks against anti-hunting people from hunters, trappers and guides? Moreover what about the lives hunters and their ilk casually snuff out while wearing a smug grin like they’ve won an Oscar? Welcome to the Internet, this is par for the course. Maybe don’t go about killing animals for your selfish amusement and ego?

That’s true – these tough guys are really quite sensitive little prima donnas, aren’t they, considering. At least the opposing side doesn’t drag dead animal carcasses through the center of town to show how tough they are like in Jackson, Wy and Alaska.

Oh the poor beleaguered snowflakes, wilting under the impact of cruel “hate speech”! But then what would you expect from a sniveling bunch of whinny little cowards like trophy hunters. When the odds are heavily stacked in their favor with their heavy duty firepower, the element of surprise and essentially no risk whatsoever to their personal safety (save for the possible twisted ankle as they disentangle their beer bloated bellies from their camo-colored snowmobiles) they are the swaggering, macho tough guys. But apparently they have a “sensitive” side too and suffer emotional trauma when readers post unsympathetic remarks on social media. Everyone with some life experience knows that when you confront and stand-up to your typical bully, they fold like a deck of cards because at heart they are cowards. And make no mistake about it, these are bullies who make a hobby of tormenting the weak and preying on creatures infinitely nobler than themselves for the most trivial of reasons. If I were ever to encounter one of them trespassing on my property they’d be feeling a whole lot more pain than that which comes from some unkind remarks on social media.
