Debate over using drones to hunt, July 8
Shouldn’t everyone involved be more concerned with the size of the herd? When it has gone from 500,000 down to 8,500, it would and should only make sense to stop the hunt all together. I’m sure that the Canadian government could provide meat for these groups and ban a hunt altogether. There are rules that prohibit the use of drones for hunting in Ontario, where I hunt, for the simple fact that it is an unfair advantage for the hunter. Why should this rule change, no matter who is hunting? It should be quite clear to everyone, regardless of skin colour, that modern technology has given everyone an advantage over wildlife. Traditions I understand, but when there’s no herd left, what tradition do you teach then?
