US government agency reportedly killed 8 wolf pups in their den

In the spring, wolf dens are usually full of young pups being raised by their parents and helper wolves, but when one den in Idaho was discovered vacant earlier this year, biologists worked on uncovering the reason. Today, theWashington Postreported that eight wolf pups from the Timberline wolf pack were killed by agentsfrom the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services, a division that, while unknown to most Americans,takes a heavy toll on wildlife—and native carnivores in particular.

  1. We really have no one to turn to to protect wildlife in government. It has floored me (almost) that the left now is pushing the ‘recovery’ exaggerations that Trump’s Interior Dept. did. All for political points.

  2. The person who drafted the delisting ruling back in 2011 for Jon Tester is now heading up the Bureau of Land Management, so it doesn’t look like we can expect any help there. No wonder she was a shoo-in confirmation. 😦
