One person died Saturday morning in a boating accident at Alum Creek State Park, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
A department release said four people were duck hunting on the west side of the lake early in the morning when their boat began taking on water.
Multiple fire departments respondedto the scene. According to a dispatch from Delaware County 9-1-1, divers were deployed to searchfor an elderly male.
ODNR said two boaters were taken to a hospital, whereone was pronounced dead.
No other information was immediately available.
