Joe Biden urged nations to help “overcome the existential crisis of our time”
US President Joe Biden has told a major summit that we are in a “decisive decade” for tackling climate change.
The US has pledged to cut carbon emissions by 50-52% below 2005 levels by the year 2030.
This new target, which was unveiled at a virtual summit of 40 global leaders, essentially doubles their previous promise.

Wasn’t sure where to post, but I was infuriated when I saw video on the national news. The national news called it a ‘bison attack’, but the video clearly shows that the man and his companions were trying to torment the bison, a three-on-one that included a child! They would not back off for whatever reason, and he was gored and the child knocked down. He put his own child in jeopardy to act the fool.
I hope Yellowstone fines him and/or bans him from the Park. He caused his own injuries. This was terrible, and all the news outlets are reporting it wrongly:

That’s why I didn’t want to post this when I first saw it, but hopefully readers will see it through the eyes of the bison, who have no where else to roam freely.
It looks like one of the party sprayed bear or pepper spray as he was walking away too. Jerks.
Thanks to our nut wack Supreme Court repubs, climate change progress received a setback with their recent blow to the EPA’s ability to curb emissions.
They’re on a roll…
