  1. What about the calamitous effects of unchecked population growth and the resulting drain of the worlds’ resources and added pollution and added shrinkage of wilderness? Is 8 billion people headed toward 10 or 11 billion sustainable? Does capitalism models need to be revised from never-ending growth dependent on never-ending population growth need to be revised to account for other values? Is unfettered capitalism destroying the planet?

  2. What is the baseline here? Wouldn’t it be nice to go back to a population of even 50 years ago? Better for climate change and the entire planet.
