  1. The Wyoming hunter who ran down and over a wolf, then kept it for a couple of days to show off at a bar. He is a symptom of what is wrong with so-called sport hunting, it is wanton thrill killing and sadistic. There is no such phenomena as ethical hunting. I have spent considerable time listening to and watching hunters engaged in recreational killing of wildlife. They hunt from blinds, use high powered, scoped rifles. By the way “fair chase” is also a myth. The hunter spin, lies, justifying their hunts such as calling it conservation, population control, preventing human-wildlife conflict, necessary culling for one reason or another, killing one species to protect another are PR for a naive and gullible public and media. they kill to satisfy their lust for killing, for the thrill, and it is not meat for the freezer.
