The more I read about this, the more physically nauseous I become. It looked like in some of the photos she was able to get up on her feet and might have even lived?
“Wyoming’s Governor, the local sheriff, the Director of the state’s fish and wildlife agency, and former U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Director Dan Ashe have issued statements condemning this brutal attack. But to date, the current Director of the USFWS, Martha Williams, and her boss, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, have had no comment.”
In my opinion, here is where the problem lies. Martha Williams’ background has always been questionable to me, a recommendation from a Biden crony, Jon Tester. Plus she doesn’t have the required science background. And we know that the Republicans are generally anti-wolf protection, so where can anyone turn? No wonder even this mentally-challenged oaf was able to act with such impunity!:
Are any of you going tune in to the meeting tomorrow? I don’t think I’m going to bother. I don’t have a lot of confidence in it. I’ll wait for the lowlights after it’s over.
The sheriff’s response has been appalling. He hopes Roberts ‘learns from his mistake’. Well a mistake can be fixed. This one cannot. Roberts has made a big mistake. The sheriff also thinks he is ‘a nice guy who he has known all his life’. Well nice guys don’t do things like this. Does the sheriff think he is talking to children? I think the poor sheriff has learned that even the nice guy you have known all your life can be depraved behind closed doors, or with cronies of like mind.
But at least they did condemn the act. The Interior Dept. hasn’t even done that!
What they are all hoping for is that in time it will blow over and be forgotten, just like the others before them. Don’t let that happen, or let them off the hook.
“Predatory animals have been determined to not require any direct management by Game and Fish, and also aren’t under federal wildlife management authority or protection, he [Brian Nesvik] said.”
Can somebody explain this to me, and why the USF&W hasn’t become involved? Wyoming Game and Fish not involved in monitoring wolves at all anymore!!!!! This is according to the former director. How does that work with USF&W directives after removing them from the Endangered Species list?
Washington, DC is responsible for this, they should have realized this would not work. What could go wrong? This is all because of the delisting:
