Taking advantage of this time, the trapping and hunting activities become more complex.
The perpetrators often choose recently harvested fields, dense thickets, or shallow puddles to set up their traps. Their methods are quite sophisticated, using fake storks made of foam as bait, planting numerous bamboo sticks coated with super glue, and combining this with sound-emitting devices to lure the birds… With this method, once birds are caught in the trap, it is difficult for them to escape. If not thoroughly stopped, this destructive practice will not only severely reduce the number of individuals but also directly disrupt the balance of the natural ecosystem.
