The cat was one of only two known jaguars known to be roaming the US, and part of a group of three to be detected in the last three years, according to the Center for Biological Diversity.

  1. According to the article I read in the local newspaper here in Tucson, the “pelt” )a word we use for nonhuman animal’s hair and skin) was found in Mexico. And thats probably where he was killed.

  2. Another one was killed by someone from US Fish & Wildlife who screwed up royally trying to radio collar him. What’s worrisome too is that a lot of the information was ruled to be kept from the public too:
